Hilton Garden Inn Burlington, located at 985 Syscon Road, Burlington, ON L7L 5S3, is looking for self-motivated individuals with good interpersonal skills to join their team as Housekeeping Room Attendants. This is a full-time, permanent position with 4 vacancies available. The shift timings include Day, Evening, Weekend, and Morning shifts.

Job Description:

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.

• Dusting furniture.

• Vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.

• Making beds and changing sheets.

• Distributing clean towels and toiletries.

• Stocking the linen closet.

• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.

• Handling and reporting lost and found items.

• Responding to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.

• Providing basic facility information.

• Picking up debris and emptying trash cans.

• Assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.

• Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

• Cleaning windows, walls, and ceilings.

• Addressing customer complaints or concerns.

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in English.

• No specific education requirements.

• Experience is an asset.

• Punctual, client-focused, dependable, with effective interpersonal skills.

• Reliable, a good team player, values and ethics oriented, patient, and honest.

• Willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions, as well as in sitting, standing, and walking positions.

• Willing to work overtime if necessary.

• Must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time and walk for long periods of time.
